Beas Kund is a high-altitude alpine lake that sits down regally among the mountains of Himachal Pradesh at an altitude of 3,700 meters. This lasting beauty is the origin of Beas River, which is supposed to be the water body where Sage Vyas use to take bath at the time he meditated. Beas Kund Trek begins from Solang Nallah which is a popular destination in Manali for skiing and paragliding. Charming meadows of Bakarthach and Dhundi will be a part of your trail on Beas Kund Trek. Grand peaks like Shitidhar, Hanuman Tibba , Seven Sisters and Friendship Peak will be your companion on this trek. One will also come across the Beas Kund Glacier while proceeding towards Beas Kund. If you want you can also pluck the mushrooms and wild strawberries on your way and slowly watch the herds of sheep and goats grazing. Report at Manali Govt. Bus Stand at 9 AM, from where we will pick you. Acclimatization walk around manali
From Manali, a short drive to Dhundi 20.4 km will take us to our starting point for Beas Kund Trek. From here, we trek for 5 km we reach to Bakrathatch, the trail is through the forests of oak, fir, and walnuts. Snow-capped mountains never go out of your vision and offer a remarkable view. After trekking 5 km we reach our camp site Bakrathatch (3270m). The peaks visible en-route are Indrasan peak (6,220 meters) and Deo Tibba Peak (6,001 meters). The beautiful 7 sisters are in the background as well.
Day 3:- Trek from Bakrathatch to Beas Kund & Back( 4 hrs.) Early in the morning, we start out trek to Beas Kund. The path is through stones and rocks in summers and through the snow in winters. After trekking for 4-5 hours, we will reach the lovely Beas Kund. This amazing lake is the origin of River Beas. This is also the base camp for summit peaks like Ladakhi ,Friendship, and Shitidhar. After spending some time and taking some pictures and having some food here, we head back to our camp in Bakkarthatch.
Trek from Bakarthach to Dhundi /solang and drive back to Manali (4 hrs) Today we descend to Dhundi by the same path that was used for coming up. From Dhundi/Solang, we drive back to Manali. We will be dropped at the Manali bus stand late in the evening.

Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total amount is payable to secure a place in the expedition. This needs to be prior 15 days of the scheduled departure date.
Balance 
The balance of 75% amount is payable before starting of the expedition.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
An expedition member may cancel his/her participation on the following basis:
Cancellation prior to 30 days from start of the expedition get 95% refund.
Cancellation between 29 days and 11 days to the start of the trip get 60% refund.
Cancellation less than 10 days to the start of the trip No refund.

Trip Cancellation Insurance
Team members should take out private insurance if they wish to be covered against cancellation due to medical or personal reasons.
This is called trip cancellation insurance and can be obtained from your travel agent.
